Confidential Telephone Advice

We can provide a freephone confidential advice line operating 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, for all company employees wishing to seek advice on any alcohol or drug misuse issues.

The advice line is run by qualified nurse counsellors operating to established Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapist (BACP) guidelines. All calls are confidential and will not be communicated to the employer.

There are no limits to the number or duration of the calls, however for monitoring purposes the company will receive quarterly anonymous activity reports on usage.

Posters are provided displaying the helpline number, which can also be included in the company 'Understanding our Substance Misuse Policy' pamphlets.

This service is available monthly or on an annual contract.
