Six Step Process
We have developed a six step process to establish
and implement a policy for dealing with drug and alcohol
misuse at work.
1) Assess the risk to your business of drugs and
alcohol misuse and evaluate current company resources,
culture and attitudes.
2) Consult, develop and publicise a corporate policy.
3) Develop a programme of awareness and training
for all employees and encourage those with problems
to seek help.
4) Develop procedures for testing (if required).
5) Implement policy and provide management training.
6) Monitor policy and procedures on an ongoing basis using Key Performance Indicators (KPI's).
